On September 14-15, 2023, the 2nd New Energy Vehicle 800V Electric Drive System Innovation Technology Summit and High Voltage Platform Supply Chain Product Exhibition were grandly held in Hefei, attracting over 500 people from OEMs and upstream and downstream suppliers from all over the country.
As a local invited exhibitor of this high-voltage platform supply chain product exhibition, J-Link Electronics showcased its latest developed 800V SiC oil cooled electric drive system, 800V SiC motor controller, as well as 800V multi fusion SiC power domain controller, SiC power module and other products for the first time. As the only supplier at this product exhibition that has the research and development, manufacturing, and sales of SiC power modules, electronic control, and electric drive assemblies for new energy vehicle 800V high-voltage platforms, its products have received high attention from multiple OEMs and upstream partners in the supply chain, including NIO, Jike, Great Wall, Jianghuai, Chery, Dongfeng, and Remote, and have had in-depth exchanges with visitors.
It is reported that J-Link Electronics established the New Energy Vehicle Electronic Control Power Supply Division in 2019 based on its accumulated capabilities and experience in RF and power electronics over the years, conducting in-depth research and product development on power supplies, electronic control, and power domain control for new energy vehicles. For many years, we have been deeply involved in the development of 800V high-voltage electronic control and electric drive systems around third-generation semiconductor SiC power modules. Currently, we have been designated as the project site for SiC high-voltage electronic control and 800V SiC three in one electric drive assemblies for both traditional and emerging domestic automakers. We have completed the delivery of several prototypes and will achieve small-scale supply by the end of 2023. It can be seen that J-Link Electronics has made significant breakthroughs in both product development and market expansion in the past two years, and has become one of the few independent third parties in the industry with the ability to supply 800V SiC oil cooled electric drive systems.
According to the on-site introduction from J-Link Electronics, its 800V SiC three in one electric drive assembly product development has two platform products, 200kW and 250kW, both of which are oil cooled flat wires with peak speeds of over 20000 revolutions per minute. The platform level is high and can meet the high-performance electric drive needs of customers for B-class and above mid to high end vehicle models. Among them, the 200kW 800V SiC three in one electric drive assembly was delivered to customers ahead of schedule on August 14th this year at Hefei Intelligent Technology Park (South District).

Its 800V SiC three in one electric drive assembly product, developed based on the AutoSAR software architecture, can meet functions such as ASIL C functional safety, OTA automatic upgrade, wireless flashing, fault diagnosis, and health management. At the same time, the system integrates BOOST boost charging module, which achieves the function of vehicle charging boost through the reuse of electric drive system. It is fully compatible with 400V/800V charging piles currently on the market, and the maximum charging power can reach 200kW.
In addition, J-Link Electronics currently has a high standard new energy vehicle electric drive product development and verification laboratory, including dual dynamometer stands, high-speed motor performance testing stands, durability testing stands, temperature humidity vibration three comprehensive experimental stands, cold and hot shock test chambers, composite salt spray test chambers, and other equipment. The laboratory has introduced national CANS certification requirements. The company has passed the IATF 16949 quality system certification and has a production capacity of 100000 sets of electric drive assemblies and 200000 high-voltage motor controllers. It fully possesses the ability to ensure product development verification and high-quality production.
Under the trend of SiC+800V high-voltage technology application and marketization in new energy vehicles, J-Link Electronics will always be committed to the research and development, manufacturing, and sales of SiC power modules and new energy vehicle electric drive systems, continuously providing efficient and value-added solutions for customers in the new energy vehicle industry, and helping customers reach industry-leading levels.
