The operation of public charging infrastructure showed an increase of 108000 public charging stations in June 2022 compared to May, with a year-on-year growth of 65.5% in June. As of June 2022, member units within the alliance have reported a total of 1.528 million public charging stations, including 665000 DC charging stations, 863000 AC charging stations, and 472 AC/DC integrated charging stations. From July 2021 to June 2022, an average of approximately 50000 new public charging stations were added per month.

The operation of public charging infrastructure in provinces, regions, and cities, with 71.7% of public charging stations built in the top 10 regions of Guangdong, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Beijing, Hubei, Shandong, Anhui, Henan, and Fujian. The national charging capacity is mainly concentrated in provinces such as Guangdong, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Fujian, Hebei, Shaanxi, Hubei, Henan, Shanxi, etc. The flow of electricity is mainly to buses and passenger cars, with a relatively small proportion of other types of vehicles such as sanitation logistics vehicles and taxis. In June 2022, the total charging capacity in China was approximately 1.93 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 370 million kilowatt hours from the previous month, a year-on-year increase of 109.3%, and a month on month increase of 23.8%.

As of June 2022, the top 15 charging stations operated by public charging infrastructure operators in China are as follows: Special Electric Power operates 287000 units, Star Charging operates 284000 units, State Grid operates 196000 units, Cloud Fast Charging operates 184000 units, Southern Power Grid operates 95000 units, Xiaoju Charging operates 76000 units, Weijingyun operates 55000 units, Shenzhen Car Grid operates 50000 units, Yiwei Energy operates 38000 units, Hui Charging operates 35000 units, Wancheng Wanchong operates 31000 units, SAIC Anyue operates 24000 units, Wanma Aichong operates 23000 units, China Putian operates 21000 units, and Weilan Fast Charging operates 21000 units. 14000 units. These 15 operators account for 92.5% of the total, while the remaining operators account for 7.5% of the total.

Overall operation of charging infrastructure: From January to June 2022, the increase in charging infrastructure was 1.301 million units, with a year-on-year increase of 228.4% in the increase of public charging piles and a continuous increase in the increase of 511.3% in the increase of private charging piles built with vehicles. From January to June 2022, there will be an increase of 185000 public AC piles, 196000 public DC piles, 307000 public piles, and 74000 dedicated piles. The increase in public charging stations has exceeded last year's total increase, reaching 112% of last year's total increase. From January to June 2022, there will be an increase of 920000 private charging stations. The increase in private charging stations has exceeded last year's total increase, reaching 154% of last year's total increase. As of June 2022, the cumulative number of charging infrastructure in China was 3.918 million units, an increase of 101.2% year-on-year.

The comparison between charging infrastructure and electric vehicles shows that from January to June 2022, the increase in charging infrastructure was 1.301 million units, and the sales of new energy vehicles were 2.6 million units. The explosive growth of charging infrastructure and new energy vehicles continues. The incremental ratio of pile to vehicle is 1:2, and the construction of charging infrastructure can basically meet the rapid development of new energy vehicles.
