ISO 26262: 2018, as an international authoritative standard in the field of automotive functional safety, is one of the entry barriers for global electronic component suppliers to enter the automotive industry. This standard divides the Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) of road vehicles, with ASIL D (Automotive Safety Integrity Level-D) being the highest safety integrity level under this standard.
The passing of this certification marks that J-Link Electronics has established a product development and production process system that complies with automotive functional safety processes, enhancing the company's overall competitiveness and providing users with higher quality and safer products and services.
At the certification ceremony, both parties exchanged views on deepening cooperation in the field of automotive functional safety. Chen Zhaoyin, General Manager of J-Link Electronics, stated:
At present, the domestic new energy vehicle market is indeed very competitive, but our ability to compete is still highly regarded by the outside world. This year, J-Link Electronics has obtained multiple highly valuable certifications and recognitions. At the same time, the company's research products have surged, and multiple projects are being promoted simultaneously. Without functional safety, it will be difficult to move forward.
The ISO 26262 functional safety ASIL D process system certification is a timely rain, and we also hope that our team remembers that certificates prove processes. In practical work, we need to compare processes, implement processes, and correct differences. As an independent third-party enterprise with the ability to independently develop SiC power modules, motor controllers, and electric drive assemblies for the entire chain and stack, J-Link Electronics adheres to high goals and requirements. Product development starts from the bottom logic and strives to solve the integrated needs of automotive charging and electricity consumption. We hope to become a respected company
Chu Gongqing, the East Director of SGS Automotive Services, first congratulated J-Link Electronics on its certification, and said:
The ISO 26262:2018 road vehicle functional safety standard aims to improve the functional safety of automotive electronic/electrical products and has been widely recognized by domestic and foreign enterprises and experts, with internationally recognized authority. J-Link Electronics has passed the ISO 26262 functional safety ASIL D process system certification, which is a high recognition of its product quality and strength.
Certificates are the result of presentation, and the product itself is more important than the process. Integrating the development concept and tools into the development process is our common pursuit with enterprises. We look forward to maintaining close cooperation with your company to help J-Link continue to create products and solutions with high safety and reliability, empowering the development of the new energy vehicle industry
At present, the electronic and electrical systems of the entire vehicle are undergoing changes, and the functional safety and expected functional safety of automobiles are increasingly valued. "Safety" and "reliability" are the most concerned needs of customers and the most important goals of J-Link people: strengthening research and development in the field of functional safety is an important way to enhance product competitiveness, meet market demand, and ensure user safety.
In the future, J-Link people will take this as a new starting point, work together with SGS to leverage their technological and professional advantages, continuously deepen exploration and innovation in the field of automotive functional safety, continuously improve product safety and reliability, and promote the development of the company's products towards higher end and more intelligent directions.
