On the morning of February 11th, Hefei J-Link Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. officially launched the first advanced process SiC (silicon carbide) automotive power module production line in Anhui Province, injecting strong momentum into the independent and high-quality development of Anhui's new energy industry chain.

It is reported that SiC power modules, as the "heart" of new energy vehicles and eVTOL aircraft power systems, are key components for improving the overall energy efficiency and range of products. J-Link Electronics, with years of technological accumulation, focuses on the research and development of third-generation semiconductor materials. The SiC automotive power module production line that has been taken offline this time is the first advanced process SiC automotive power module production line in Anhui Province, which can meet the high reliability requirements of power system core power devices in fields such as 800V high-voltage platform vehicles and eVTOL aircraft. After the full construction and delivery of the production line, the annual production capacity can reach one million units.

In recent years, Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone has been focusing on the construction of new energy vehicles and integrated circuits and other new industry clusters. The Investment Promotion Bureau of the zone has taken the lead in providing comprehensive services to attract enterprises through policy support, project roadshows, scene docking and other measures, continuously extending and strengthening the chain, and accelerating the development of new quality productivity. In 2024, the output value of the new energy vehicle industry in the entire region increased by 47% year-on-year, and the output value of the integrated circuit industry increased by 96% year-on-year.
