At the event, J-Link Electronics announced the completion and operation of its 800V silicon carbide high-voltage electric drive assembly production base, which will also facilitate the large-scale delivery and market application of J-Link Electronics' products.

In the exhibition booth area, the Product Director of J-Link Electronics gave detailed explanations to the attendees on exhibits such as silicon carbide power modules, silicon carbide motor controllers, and silicon carbide three in one electric drive assemblies. It is worth mentioning that the Skyworth EV6II model is equipped with J-Link Electronics electric drive products.

It is reported that the Skyworth EV6II model is equipped with a self-developed 800V silicon carbide three in one electric drive assembly (250kW) by J-Link Electronics, with a maximum working voltage of 900V and integrated BOOST boost charging function.

Specifically, the 800V silicon carbide three in one electric drive assembly adopts oil cooled flat wire motor technology and full silicon carbide power devices, with a maximum working voltage of 900V and a weight of only 77kg for the 250kW assembly. At the same power level, its lightweight is at the forefront of the industry. At the same time, it integrates BOOST boost charging function, which is perfectly compatible with current 400V and 800V charging piles on the market. Through boost, it achieves high voltage fast charging, and can charge the battery SOC from 30% to 80% in 7 minutes.

J-Link Electronics, with its industry-leading research and development, testing, and supply chain integration capabilities, continues to increase its R&D investment and has developed multiple power modules, high-performance motor controllers, and electric drive assemblies for new energy vehicles. It has obtained mass production verification for multiple models from multiple new energy vehicle OEMs, and its silicon carbide modules, high-voltage electronic controls, and electric drives are at the forefront of the industry in terms of OEM certification progress.

Recently, J-Link Electronics has also made new progress and breakthroughs in SiC module vehicle grade certification.

J-Link Electronics' self-developed SiC power module JLBH800N120SAM has successfully passed the AQG-324 automotive grade power module reliability testing certification, becoming a leading automotive grade HPD single-sided water-cooled SiC power module product in the industry.

It is reported that the AQG-324 testing and certification includes four parts: module testing, module characteristic testing, environmental testing, and life testing, covering multiple key testing projects. Each project conducts strict testing and evaluation on different aspects of the power module to ensure that the power module can work stably and efficiently under various extreme conditions, meeting the high standard requirements of vehicle specifications.

The passing of this test certification also makes J-Link Electronics one of the few integrated companies in the industry with the ability to develop, design, test, verify, produce, and sell the entire chain of products from SiC power modules to 800V high-voltage electronic control and electric drive assemblies.

In addition, in August 2023, the 200kW 800V SiC three in one electric drive assembly developed by J-Link Electronics was delivered offline.

The successful delivery of the first set of 200kW 800V SiC three in one electric drive assembly also marks J-Link Electronics as one of the few domestic manufacturers to deliver SiC three in one electric drive products, laying a solid foundation for vehicle testing, announcement testing, and mass production.

For many years, J-Link Electronics has been deeply involved in the field of 800V high-voltage electronic control based on third-generation power semiconductor silicon carbide, as well as its extended integrated electric drive system and multi fusion power domain control. Its products include silicon carbide power modules and high-voltage electronic control and electric drive using silicon carbide power modules, providing efficient and value-added solutions for customers in new energy vehicles, eVTOL aircraft and other fields, helping customers reach industry-leading levels.

J-Link Electronics currently has the production capacity to produce 200000 units of electronic control, 100000 sets of electric drive assemblies, and 200000 power modules annually, focusing on the full chain production and supply of silicon carbide power modules, electronic control, and electric drive assemblies. It has also passed certifications such as IATF 16949 quality management system.
